The Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) helped me to strengthen my professional profile. With my learning from this program I can teach students better. My initial interest came from the fact that more and more universities are listing C|EH as a ‘nice to have qualification’ for computer science positions.

The training was amazing. I feel that I went from just having heard about some of the cybersecurity concepts to the level where I now completely understand them. I can also demonstrate all those learned concepts to my college students. It has wonderful courseware as it not only introduced me to various penetration testing tools, but it also nicely explained why certain things work the way they do. As a college faculty and a software developer I have been through a several training and certification exams, but C|EH is one of my top favorites. This training had many great tools, but perhaps Wireshark and Nmap would be the tools I plan to use the most. I particularly liked seeing the modules on SQL injection, buffer overflow, and other software vulnerabilities, and I plan to include similar examples in some of my courses. I strongly believe C|EH is an excellent start for IT security professionals as it got its credibility from ANSI accreditation and DoD recognition.
