I found my passion for cybersecurity in my undergrad, where I started involving myself in various cybersecurity workshops. It has introduced me to a lot of information, and I have seen much more scope in cybersecurity, finally choosing cybersecurity as my career. Initially, I wanted to opt for the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) program as it is the core certification for any cybersecurity beginner. The EC-Council courseware and training material has helped me to explore a lot of content, both practically and theoretically. I was delighted to learn the basic step of information security, which is scanning. I use the concepts that I learned in this training almost daily.
My advice for cybersecurity beginners to start with the core training program, for instance, C|EH. Along with that, participate in cybersecurity competitions, try to solve problems from the various sites, for example, Hackthissite, Vulnhub, and others.
