The Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) program as the practical approach gave me a lot of hands-on training. The set-up of the program, with the possibility of the virtual lab environment, supports you in the process of executing a hack. This way, you can build your own routines on approaching a real-world scenario/case. The lab environment during the C|EH program and iLab environment afterwards really helps you in creating a solid baseline of Ethical hacking and strengthening your Hacking routines.
Following this, I then pursued the Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator (C|HFI) program.
The in-depth knowledge you need to master across all platforms (Windows/Linux/MAC OS), to become a Certified C|HFI, was something I appreciated very much for this program. Furthermore, the best practices in a forensic investigation and a solid understanding of the different techniques (of Data acquisition/Data analysis) you learn was something I recommend to everyone who wants to have a broad understanding of Digital Forensics.
Anybody who is interested in becoming a cybersecurity expert or to extend his or her knowledge within the cybersecurity field of expertise, ought to consider to participate in EC-Council programs.
