Cybersecurity has always my subject of interest and since the beginning of my career, I desired to educate people about the vulnerabilities that each one of us is exposed to when connected to the internet. Every device across the globe pose a potential threat to the human race. My anxiousness of getting into a role-play of a hacker has inspired me to become an ethical hacker. EC-Council’s believe in the deliverance of ethical hacking program which is based on the phrase, ‘To beat a hacker, you need to think like a hacker,’ caught my attention on the first glance. After completing C|EH, I now understood how hackers behave and how ethical hacking helps in protecting the ICT environment that I manage.
C|EH courseware and training material is excellent and is vast enough to learn the required skills. Among the entire syllabus, few of the topics that I found interesting are foot-printing, reconnaissance, and social engineering as these techniques are applied in everyday use.
Along with the credential, my hard work, self-driven attitude and persistence have helped me in achieving the position that I desire to be in. As the world is moving towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution, cybersecurity should be considered as a priority both by the individuals as well as the business sector. To keep pace with the changing technology, we need to ensure that we have the right people with the correct skills and EC-Council’s C|EH is a step towards creating the secured environment.
