I’m very proud of my latest achievement. Today I passed the CCISO certification exam offered by EC-Council (https://lnkd.in/exeQ8ZP). It was a tough exam, with 150 questions covering the five domains of the CCISO body of knowledge, including such topics as governance, risk management, strategic planning, compliance, IS program management, financial management, vendor management, audit, operations, controls, and IS core competencies. Yeah, lots of opportunities for tough questions.

I leaned heavily on the experience I have gained in the last 7 years at McMaster, and working with folks in Canadian Higher Ed. I am truly grateful for the guidance and support I have received from my leaders, peers, coaches, and mentors. I’m very excited to apply this knowledge and to further develop my leadership capabilities while contributing to the delivery of McMaster’s IT Strategic Plan.
