I was a regular CTF player. In one such event, HACKQUEST 2.0(conducted by TCS every year), I managed to get through it. After which, I got a job in TCS as a Cyber Security Analyst. With that, I have a master’s degree in Cyber Forensics and Information Security. Well, a year ago, I attained the credential for Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH). Since then, I have been planning to do some advanced course in the same domain. When I learned about EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA), I took the opportunity to learn core pen-testing. I believe this training will further benefit my current position. It took me six months to earn the C|EH credential. And, once I started as a professional, I understood the importance of hands-on experience that C|EH, and ECSA helped me gain. I was more confident. Besides that, the provided training material served as a memory refresher for me. Also, I learned about different types of penetration testing tools, and I use almost all of them.

Cybersecurity is a booming industry. But do not choose it as a career unless you have a keen interest in information technology. My college education, C|EH and ECSA learnings, and online exploration led me to a successful cybersecurity career.
