EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) has been a very good decision for me. I believe that it is a testimonial to one’s knowledge in not only the depth of cyber security but rather its breadth across its domains. This is why I feel ECSA is a right choice for a cyber security professional, irrespective of whether he/she is into DAST, Vulnerability Management, Managed Security Services, Identity Access Management, Forensics or Governance. Because no matter if the person is a Pentester, SOC Analyst or Auditor this is a useful certification.
With its 40+ hours of training material’s layered modules giving a better understanding of the essentials of what it means to be a Security Analyst. Every module strengthens the individual’s background and enables higher level understanding of the respective subdomain. Not to forget that it maps 100% to the NICE framework!
All this is why I would definitely recommend it to a colleague in cyber security.
