Since I took up an IT Risk course in my Master’s, I found a new interest in cybersecurity. When I applied for the job in the industry, organizations suggested that I validate my skills with the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) credential. Apart from that, it was the technical knowledge for which I took up EC-Council’s C|EH program.
This training imparted knowledge on how a cybercriminal victimizes a network, linked systems, and stored sensitive data. I also learned to use multiple tools (Burp Suite, Nmap, and many others) and was introduced to Kali Linux.
I suggest that all CyberSec aspirants learn to protect your data before applying for a job in this industry.
