For the past three years, I have been waiting for the certification to come to Columbus, Ohio, ever since I heard about the rollout of the certification back in the year 2008. As soon as I heard that EC-Council was providing the wonderful opportunity to become a Certified Ethical Hacker, I dived right in.
I took the C|EH course because well let’s be honest, it just sounds really cool to anyone in the IT industry. But aside from that, having worked in securing systems inside the Department of Defense, I wanted a better look at what tools and techniques were being taught and used for penetration tests to further my knowledge so that I could be a better systems administrator and employee.
The instructor and the practice labs were the best part of the training. I had been studying for around four months before the class and so I had only been learning the concepts in theory.
I would definitely recommend EC-Council courses! I felt the material was eye-opening and extremely relevant to anyone that works in not just IT security but physical security as well.
