I started as a developer nine years ago. But after seeing the need for cybersecurity engineers two years ago, I made a decision to switch my focus to cybersecurity. I believe persistence and the support of my teammates helped me to grow in my professional career. But majorly, the credit goes to the relevant credentials that I acquired, and my continuous practice, giving me the needed breakthrough. It was my colleague who introduced me to the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) a while ago. I grew interested in it because it could verify my knowledge. Its real-time lab sessions helped me to learn Kali Linux and Metasploit. I frequently use my knowledge from this training while conducting penetration test.
For a CyberSec beginner, practice as much as possible, use every opportunity available to try tools, and try attaining a well-acclaimed credential like C|EH.
