We always talk about how we keep ourselves relevant to the IT/Cybersecurity industry in general. To share my thoughts, for many years now, I have this personal challenge to take on at least one major study, training, or certification per year. For 2019, I think I’m done. I have to admit it’s getting more difficult each year to achieve this goal because of growing personal and professional responsibilities. It is not about exams are getting more difficult, but, more of how I approach my personal development and having that discipline to dedicate a good amount of my time to sharpen and broaden my knowledge and skills. Wondering how others feel about this. How do you approach it? What motivates you to keep going? What other good ways to stay relevant? Happy to hear your thoughts! Cheers!
