I would like to take a moment and thank EC-Council and it’s certification programs that helped me to shape my career.
My Journey began with a SOC project where I worked on SIEM based processes. I got the opportunity to explore various topics of information security, which were VAPT, Auditing, and SIEM. My curiosity to learn new things and attending relevant certifications helped me become a InfoSec Professional. I was fascinated by penetration testing tools and sincerely wanted to switch from SOC to InfoSec domain. For that, the Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) and EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) programs helped me attain my goals. Both the training programs were relevant and made me relate all my learnings to real-world situations (through virtual labs). With the help of these programs, I gained expertise in various tools and was able to ace both the exams to become a C|EH and ECSA credential holder. I am glad that these programs taught me to use various tools on Kali Linux.
For all the CyberSec aspirants, use the internet as a reference for studies, and take guidance from Experienced InfoSec professionals. Plus, going for globally recognized credentials, such as C|EH or ECSA will get you better job opportunities in the industry.
