From my journey to help desk support to a system administrator, I began to see the importance of cybersecurity. I was curious to be a part of this ever-changing industry and wanted to soak up all the knowledge I can – my driving forces. I am blessed to have some great cybersecurity mentors who always supported me.

I was always interested in threat intelligence, and I felt that the Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (C|TIA) could be a great starting point. I strongly believed that C|TIA could help me understand the responsibilities of TI analysts and give me a leg up on pursuing a career. And it definitely justified all my expectations! I’m glad EC-Council offers comprehensive courseware with real-time iLabs to practice all the theoretical knowledge. Also, this program allowed me to actually download and use multiple tools that helped in expanding my knowledge. Some interesting tools that I learned to use are AlienVault OTX and Threat Connect (and I still use them).

If you are a CyberSec enthusiast, connect with like-minded people and go for free as well as credible training programs (like EC-Council’s ANSI accredited and DoD recognized programs).
