At first, I didn’t know much about cybersecurity, but I knew it offers multiple opportunities. Right now, I’m doing an internship, and I think cybersecurity as a career suits me perfectly. I believe my willingness to learn, perseverance, motivation from people around me, and EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) helped me build a better resume for my future.
I made up my mind to go for CEH after looking at its syllabus and its sincerity to empower me to grow and learn about hacking and penetration testing, and the cybersecurity environment. It’s great that CEH is an internationally accepted certification, and it opens doors for developing a career in multinational companies. Now, about my learning experience with CEH. Earlier, I thought it would be difficult since we all had to learn online, but it turned out to be a convenient way of gaining knowledge despite the ongoing pandemic. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about policy and securing computers. Since I am a security operation intern at a bank, I have to deal with security issues, especially endpoint security. And CEH helped me in many ways to deal with such challenges.
I truly encourage anyone interested in cybersecurity to opt for CEH. People in this era keep developing their applications and technology, but sometimes they forget about the security aspect of their projects. From what I have seen and experienced, cybersecurity will shine in the future, so for people who are interested in this industry, just go for it.
