Faisal Esam Abul, Information Security Professional at KIB, Talks about the C|HFI Program

I started my cybersecurity career as an Application Security Officer. While holding the position, I was involved in monitoring bank systems and managing access controls. I was in charge of several other security-related responsibilities. I wanted to progress in my career, and that’s why I chose EC-Council’s interesting programs – Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (C|HFI), EC-Council Certified Incident Handler (E|CIH), and Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH). I knew these programs could help me obtain industry-recognized credentials, which will demonstrate and certify my security knowledge and skills. I learned a lot from these programs; and had great experience! Even, whatever I learned through these pieces of training are what I’m using under my current role – incident handling, forensic investigation, threat intelligence, Information Security Compliance with ISO 27001, and information security awareness for staff including induction sessions and social engineering campaigns.

If anyone is interested in cybersecurity, then now is the right time to start! Also, I recommend starting with some well-known fundamental programs (like C|EH) to get familiar with this industry.
