I became interested in #cybersecuritytraining during my undergraduate days, where stealing passwords and web application security were legit issues.
So, I focused on cross-site scripting (XSS) for my Final Year Project. My quest for more knowledge in IT solutions and the Security of Web Applications helped me grow professionally.
I signed up for EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) for its hands-on virtual laboratory, which was fascinating and had the deluge of tools. The training material and courseware were very enlightening. It gave me the ability to learn several techniques on my own. And then to learn how the techniques work in the real-world was intriguing!
I loved a couple of modules from CEH – Cloud Computing, Social Engineering, and Session Hijacking.
A word of advice for all the cybersecurity beginners and freshers: Cybersecurity is an all-time relevant career path, and now is the best time to dive in!
