EC-Council Appoints Malcolm Rowe to New Role as Vice President for Enterprise Solutions

SINGAPORE – EC-Council, the world’s leading information security certification body, today announced that it is to scale its international operations with a new Enterprise Solutions team headed by industry veteran Malcolm Rowe as Vice President – Enterprise Solutions.

The aim with Enterprise Solutions is to broaden access to EC-Council solutions at a government and industry level so that each can develop cyber capability, in-country and in-house, to more effectively contain the world’s rapidly evolving cyber threats.

Jay Bavisi, CEO of EC-Council Group and Chairman of the Board of EC-Council University explained, “It is widely accepted that we face a scarcity of cybersecurity professionals, with estimates of a 1.5 million shortfall by 2019. With EC-Council Enterprise Solutions we can address more of that skills and services gap and we are convinced that with a scaled channel strategy, we can deliver results. With extensive market knowledge, proven leadership and the experience of the enterprise mindset that Malcolm brings, and we know that he and his team will be a huge asset to EC-Council.

Rowe’s career spans 25 years in IT and includes 16 in sales leadership roles in Web security businesses across both Europe and Asia Pacific. Recent roles include VP Sales APJ driving success in the security space for the world’s largest cloud computing platform, Akamai, and as a Regional Director at Tenable Network Security.
